Lonely Boy

If I could wish just one thing, I would definitely wish going to Coachella. Because Coachella isn't only the best music festival ever, it's a lot more. It's a must for every Californian girl, you can show your style, spot the most stylish people in this planet and have any kind of amusement you can imagine. Boday painting, fire, tattoos, dance, boho hats, feathers, friends, excitement. Everything. That is the reason why, at least once, I must go there and have the time of my life.

Antidotes

Anyone who thinks that knows something about fashion must follow MAFFASHION, a blog which is in the top ten of the fashion blogs. Juliett Kucynska runs it, and she is simply awesome. She is beautiful, stylish and a trendsetter. The way she dresses, the way she lives, her eyes, her hair... Everything about her is just charming.

 

She is the most inspiring girl for me, like a modern it girl. She is not a Victoria angel, she is not a cheerleader, she is the kind of girl your parents don't want you to meet. A rebel behind a pretty blond hair. Juliett is so down to earth and confident, and can look gorgeous either in jeans and a jumper or in a designer dress. She can wear either vertigo high-heels or sneakers. Multifaceted and talented, she is a blogger and a muse. She colaborates with a lot of brands, like Black Milk, Mango, H&M or Sanoflore. You can usually spot her in magazines like KMAG.

Tonight we listen to Foals. They are a rock band from Oxford. I discovered them through Skins' soundtrack, their debut album was released on March, 2008. Its title is Antidotes and I love all the songs in them, it's so relaxing, the perfect background to prim oneself up. You can listen the full album here. Black Milk Clothing is one of best brands ever. Under the motto "Give me nylon or give me death", designer James Lillis has been creating during many years awesome leggings with nylon lining. BMC has turned out to be a phenomenon, and Black Milk Girls a urban culture.

 

Now, BMC produces swimsuits, catsuits, bodysuits, dresses, skirts, tops, shoes and, of course, leggins. Coolest leggins ever. Patterned with nebulas, crosses, retro games or church-inspired prints. All Black Milk Girls share their collections with the world, looking so special and stunning.

I just love this Australian brand and it brought me to my favourite it girl, Juliett Kuczynska. But I will write about her in my next post. Today.

The Boxing Plot

Although I don't want this blog to be only a fashion blog, today I want to share my winter inspirations and wish list.

First of all, I want to introduce a new Irish band, The Boxing Plot, who will surely bring something new to the music scene. You can discover them here in their SoundCloud and listen to their first studio single, Nine.

I don't have a defined style when it's about dressing, but I like to combine adolable Zooey Deschanel - inspired items with Skins clothing, mixing very cute shorts with rock T-shirts, lovely dresses with Dr. Martens and boy shirts with Hepburn's sunglasses. I love vintage clothing, Coachella hippie-inspired style. I also try to say something about me with every outfit, I try to put across my thoughts or my way to see the world, which changes every day.

This winter, my objective is to find very special garments in Barcelona and stand out in the crowd, who wear Rihanna-inspired and American-rock-bands-they-have-never-heard T-shirts this season.

Diamonds are forever

I have been thinking about a good title for this new blog. Both Arctic Monkeys and Wildfox Couture inspired me this Diamonds are forever.

Arctic Monkeys' song Diamonds are forever is hugely inspiring and deep. Don't worry, tears will dry after listening to it. You can listen to it here.

Wildfox Couture is an American vintage-inspired women's knitwear brand. Combining great style and quality, it quickly gained a following amongst celebrities, bloggers and trendsetters worldwide. Childhood friends Emily Faulstich and Kimberly Gordon created it, being inspired by sleepovers, magic, fairies, beautiful books, dreams, vintage T-shirts and, above all, they friendship. They say Wildfox is for dreamers, for lovers, for skinny dippers, for barefoot explorers, for late night chocolate eaters.
